Then there was Ganni Lal Kasera, the typical shrewd businessman, who was equally devoted to Shri Nathji. His specialty was that he never spoke above a whisper before Shri Nathji. Occasionally he would be led to make shrewd deals in business, which rebounded upon him.
There was the time when a group of people entered his house forcibly and searched for an incriminating document. His business rivals wished to file a false case against him for which they needed the document in Ganni Lal’s possession.
Had the document been found, Gannilal Kasera would have been in deep trouble. He placed the document behind a cabinet-sized photograph of Shri Nathji and prayed for help from him. The intruders searched every inch of the house–but did not look behind the photograph.
Ganni Lal narrated the incident later to Shri Nathji and pulled his ears that he would be more careful in his business affairs in the future.
