There was the retired District Forest Officer, a certain Shri K.H. Chati, who sought close contact with Shri Nathji amidst the crowds, but who was denied this for a long time. In desperation, he thought of going on a hunger strike outside the Buty residence.
As if in answer to his prayers, Shri Nathji came out one evening for a ride to Ambazari gardens, and Mr. Chati boarded the jeep that was taking him there. It was thus that he came into contact with a Spiritual Master who was to remain in his heart forever.
There is a lot of energy within me, bursting to get out, Chati said to Shri Nathji, I pray you to utilise it in your service.
The time will come, one day, Shri Nathji replied. Shri Nathji’s words were to ring out to be correct in the days to come. Chati was to turn out to be one of the most energetic of Shri Nathji’s devotees.
Shri Nathji had stayed at Nagpur for over one month in the stifling hot summer weather. He had given of his nectar to hundreds and thousands, and his work there appeared to be over. He and Priya Nath decided to return to Delhi.
