Shri Nathji would often narrate the story of the Sufi saint, Sarmad, who was beheaded for his beliefs.
When he saw the executioner come with a sword, he recognized the Will of God in the execution and called out:
Come! O come, my Beloved! Come quickly and sever this head from my body. It is good that Thou hast come. A long story has been cut short–for I had quite a headache!
