Shri Nathji also said that the real meaning of self-realization had not been understood. If the self referred to, is the limited human self of man, his ego, his “I” which asserts itself in every phase of life, then the self is not to be realised, but rather to be annihilated.
Shri Nathji would often say:
Self ko realise naheen karnaa hai
Self ko annihilate karnaa hai.
