Shri Nathji was living only for the sake of mankind; each and every act that he performed was for the deliverance of mankind.
Shri Nathji would be very sad when his devotees would allow their petty human egos to come in the way of their faith.
Shri Nathji recollected how R.R. Khanna had never been the same again after Shri Nathji had got married. His hopes to marry Shri Nathji to one of his daughters had been shattered. Although he remained on the path of devotion there were times when he would waver and the ego within would assert itself.
Once when Shri Babaji Bhagwan had sent a telegram to him for some sewa, Khanna sent back a telegraphic reply: “Too tired, body mind and soul”.
Although he repented for the impertinence later, yet the damage had been done.
Shri Nathji always said: “The Asuri Bal – the Evil Force within – will never come to you as an enemy. It will always come to you as a friend. And after it has made you fall it will clap its hands with joy and laugh at you!”
