Raju Urhekar was the son of Shri G.G. Urhekar of Nagpur. Shri G.G. Urhekar had passed away and Raju was filled with the great regret of his father’s betrayal of Shri Nathji in 1984. “Agar ek bhee cheez Mahagranth men raih gayi to hameshaan ke liye raih jaayegi! Sab kuchh daalte jaayiye, chaahe kitnaa bhee barraa kyon naa Mahagranth ho jaaye! Kharche ki parvaah na karen, ham log jo baitthe hain!“If even a single thing is left out of the Mahagranth it will be lost forever. Put everything into it, no matter how long the book becomes. Don’t worry about the costs, we are here!”It was the Will of Shri Nathji that he took the greatest amount of service from the poorest of his devotees. Those with greater means were still engrossed in a world of their own, in which the work of God was something non-essential.
