The world of devotion witnessed the end of an era with the passing away of Mrs. Santosh Bahl, one of the staunchest devotees of Shri Nathji since 1968. She passed away with the name of Shri Nathji on her lips, and went away into those eternal regions of bliss which Shri Nathji had prepared for her.“What hot winds? My Nathji has air conditioned the weather for me, I don’t feel any heat!”There was a time when a man lay apparently dead at a bus-stop and she placed a cardamom, she had brought as prasaad from Shri Nathji for herself, into the mouth of the man–and instantly the man got up from the road much to the astonishment of all!“I have never seen Shri Nathji and Priya Nathji as two! They are one and the same! People who think of them as separate have an incomplete devotion!”After Shri Nathji had left the planet earth, she continued coming to the darbaar of Priya Nath with the same regularity. She and her aging husband would bring large sums of sewa. When Priya Nath would worry about their financial situation because Bahl had retired, she would say:“We are not worried, he who has given us everything is with us! His treasures are always full!When Priya Nath moved out to Gurgaon there were many occasions whern Mrs. Bahl came by bus. This worried Priya Nath because she was old and ailing, and he urged her to not to bring any “What did she take with herself? She left behind her husband as well as her sons and relatives. Shall I tell you what she took with her? She took with her the fruit of her devotion and the Her husband and son, Ravi Bahl, continued to walk on the path shown by her. Ravi Bahl had a unique devotion that nothing in the world could shake. He was overwhelmed that Priya Nath should have printed a Memoriam on his mother.
