Shri Nathji’s sermons could not be bound by time. His listeners were swept away into a self-forgetfulness where time did not exist.
Justice Rangilal, who was one of Shri Nathji’s ardent admirers and well-wishers, was concerned for Shri Nathji’s health. He wished that Shri Nathji limit his sermons so as not to exert himself too much at a stretch. For this purpose, a large alarm clock was brought into the Rialto Theatre in Mussoorie, where Shri Nathji was to speak.
Shri Nathji’s sermon that day was unusually long–and the clock could not put a halt to it–because it had stopped by itself!
Many people would recount this episode with great delight whenever they relived the moments of Shri Nathji’s sermons at the Rialto Theatre in Mussoorie.
Shri Nathji would often say:
“Where God exists, Time does not exist.”
